Our holidays are based in Svolvær – ‘capital’ of Lofoten. From Svolvær there are excursion possibilities allowing you to enjoy the stunning mountain scenery and picturesque fishing villages. In February these peaceful fishing villages spring to life with the start of the cod fishing season.
LOFOTEN EXCURSIONS
Daytime or Northern Lights Husky Safari
Daily 09.00-16.00 and 17.00-24.00.
Operated by Lyngsfjord Adventure, this excursion includes a 2-3 hour husky safari, travelling two to a sled – one driving and one enjoying the wild and beautiful inland scenery. Price includes transfers (about 90 minutes each way) warm clothing/boots and a hot meal.

Arctic Winter Night
Fridays 22 Oct – 25 March 19.00 – 23.00 (other days on request for a minimum of 4 passengers). An evening excursion by mini-bus to the Polar Lights Centre at Laukvik. The price includes an interesting
multi-media presentation, a night trip to the beach and coffee.

Lofoten Winter Panorama
Daily 1 Oct – 31 March 08.45 – 16.00
A full day mini-bus excursion through the spectacular Lofoten archipelago – with frequent photo-stops. Your experienced, knowledgeable driver will introduce you to the history, nature, landscapes and the modern way of life. Picnic lunch included.

Nature Safari
Sats: 2 Oct/19 March and Fris: 5 Nov -15 Jan (except 24/25 December). 09.00-14.00.
An enjoyable safari in a comfortable wellequipped boat to experience the spectacular Lofoten nature and scenery. You will doubtless see sea-eagles, and although the orcas have been rather elusive in the last couple of years there is always the possibility! The trip starts with an interesting presentation and slide-show on the different sea-birds and sea-mammals of the area. Warm clothing is included and a light lunch is served on board.

ITINERARY
DAY 1. Depart Heathrow at 10.20 for Oslo and onward flight to Tromsø, arriving 18.10.
1 night Bed and Breakfast – Tromsø Rica Ishavshotel.
DAY 2. At leisure to enjoy Tromsø’s museums, shops or winter activities. In the late evening you board the south-bound Coastal Voyage to Svolvær with a comfortable outside cabin included.
1 night Bed and Breakfast – Hurtigruten (Coastal Voyage).
DAY 3. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as the ship sails past the Vesterålen Islands, through the narrow Raftsundet strait to Lofoten, arriving Svolvær 18.30. Transfer to Svinøya Rorbuer.
2 nights Half-board – Svinøya Rorbuer, Svolvær.
DAY 4. At leisure in Svolvær, with optional activities as required.
DAY 5. Transfer to Svolvær Airport for 11.30 flight to Bodø and onward connection via Oslo, arriving Heathrow 16.25.
